Prepare
yourself for a land and sea voyage that rivals the most eloquent
cruise ship. We have prepared for your
reservation as though you are, indeed, royalty if only for a week or
two. Your port will be the swankiest part of
Fort
Lauderdale
Beach
. Close
enough to the water to imagine that an ocean swell might
occasionally bathe the premises, but safely tucked away from beach
road traffic. Close by, a bejeweled necklace of road ways and
interstate highways whisk you from the
International
Airport
to a
courtyard of fantastic restaurants and shopping boutiques.
Upon
entering the “Crown Princess of the Sea,” you will be greeted by
house royalty - yourselves, of course - reflected in a towering
mirror. Capture those smiles on camera. It will be your faces
throughout your stay…. the happiest of face lifts that might last
a lifetime. To your immediate left, you will pass the “Growl
Room” with a tiger skin motif and a room-sized entertainment
center where comfortable recliner s await to relax you swathed in
soft oversized blankets. To add to the room’s mystique, we have
pre-loaded the DVD with the incomparable Andrew Lloyd Weber’s
“Phantom of the Opera.” Play it again and again. The rivulets of
music – not to mention soaring crescendos - will trickle from your
heart to your toes. In the vase, are red roses. Take one. Clinch it
and gently growl...or if you prefer...purr ! The entrancing “Growl
Room” offers unsurpassed romantic interludes … or for the kids
… a safari into deepest, darkest
Africa
.
Yet, more, the “Growl Room” offers a surprise that will
likely evoke glee from discothčquers.
The
marbled gourmet kitchen is just steps away equipped with
top-of-the-line appliances and cookware perfect for food preparation
and presentation. The eight-place dining table with high-back
seating makes eating in style and comfort a surety. In
line of sight, the living room with draperies of imported Italian
brocaded materials adjoins the dining area. The first floor is
completely open offering a panorama of original eclectic art and
oversized mirrors for, ahem, royal preening.
The
living room opens to the informality of outdoor living complete with
an azure pool and BBQ grilling. The patio captures fluffy cumulous
cloud- framed sunlight for most of the day. Tan slowly, not quickly
(Remember, you have a “Growl Room”).
Up
the marbled stairs--highlighted by ocean-view contoured windows, a
Phantom like sparkling chandelier and tree-sized plants--another
reclining area with plasma television provides a chandeliered portal
to tasteful bedrooms all with separate baths and private 37-inch
TVs. But, ahh, for the most royal of nobility,
experience the master bedroom featuring a four-poster bed and a
room-sized bathroom with Jacuzzi, enclosed
high-volume shower, bidet and,
of course, an expansive mirror and plasma TV.
Forever
mindful of creature comforts and vacation serenity, we have
preloaded “A Gift of the Sea” DVD, a Wayne Gratz piano
and ensemble that lulls good people with good thoughts into
dreamland as they sink deeper into the soft mattress.
But
WAIT! Before giving up a glorious day, repose for
awhile on the spacious marbled deck – maybe with a favorite nite
cap in hand - and take in the beauty of the beach, ocean and young
lovers who flick the sand to punctuate exchanged endearments. Good
will and romance is in the air everywhere.
Your
majesties … we hope to see you and greet you soon.
