Last year, we were pleasantly surprised at how luxuriously wonderful the 5 star  Sunny Isles penthouse condo we rented was. It was beautifully decorated, fully furnished, and complete in every way. The owner even left us a welcome gift.

This year we decided to extend our vacation to a month. While surfing the internet, I was lured to another site, and mistakenly booked and paid in full for a rental property directly on the beach. Upon arrival, and being disappointed, and without options ….(ps: the so-called agent was also the owner of the property and talked us out of the better property from the RentLuxuryHomes.com website) and was unwilling to consider moving us to another of her properties…we were at a loss. My husband and I were reasonable and were willing to pay any additional premium charges to make such a move but she wouldn’t hear of it.

As a stroke of luck, and genius, I remembered Rentluxury.com’s web address, and immediately logged on to find the phone number. I called, and I know Karen recognized the rental phone number where we were stuck, by the caller ID, but she didn’t gloat…or say a disparaging word… Instead she listened with kindness, and within minutes was on the task, arranging for us to view several available properties, ready to switch a booked guest by upgrading them to another property to make the one we wanted available for the entire month) and make herself and staff available for our use in any way.

In less than 24 hours we were in our new property relaxing on the Intracoastal, next to the pool.

Her rating system (1-5 stars) is truthful and the best part is Karen stands behind EVERY statement she makes. She truly exhibits integrity. Beyond the service she provided, Karen was flexible in every way, willing to drop everything to help us, and even advised her property owner of our situation, which gave him motivation to offer us a break on the cost of the rental.

Rentluxuryhomes.com’s website is now the only vacation rental site in my favorite places on the computer… and her number is all we’ll use for future trips to the Fort Lauderdale area.

"Intracoastal View"

Renting a vacation house long distance can be a gamble to say the least!  But the second we walked in the door of this beautiful home, we knew this would be a fabulous week.  How often does something truly exceed your hopes and expectations?  Well, this house did for sure!  Beautifully laid out and furnished...  elegant, yet inviting and comfortable... an amazingly well equipped kitchen... an unbelievable audio/visual system...a pool and huge private patio perfect for both a day of fun with the kids and a relaxing sunset cocktail with the adults ...  even fresh flowers throughout the house! 

Karen was a warm, helpful, accommodating, and easygoing hostess who made us feel special and pampered every step of the way.  She's the kind of person who becomes your friend instantly!  We feel as if this house really "made" our vacation, and it's at the absolute top of our list next time we return to Ft. Lauderdale!

"We have just spent our vacation in Fort Lauderdale and can honestly say the property is exactly as described : a very luxurious and nicely furnished house with wonderful views... Karen really did make us feel that it was our home for the three weeks. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a very enjoyable stay. 

The house is ideally situated within walking distance of numerous restaurants, the beach etc, but in a quiet part of a very nice neighborhood.  I can definitely recommend this property to anyone, and indeed , hope to return ourselves next winter."

"Point Lot"

"This is absolutely the best vacation rental house in which I have ever stayed...  I have never before rented a house in Fort Lauderdale.  I did my homework before renting this house.  It was furnished nicely, had a completely equipped kitchen, games for the kids, and anything else we were missing.

I can honestly say that we will never stay in another hotel in Fort Lauderdale...  This house accommodated our entire family of 10 very nicely.  I would come back and stay here again in a minute..." 

"Point Lot" & "The Virginian"

When we were looking for a place to stay during Spring Training 1999 for an extended amount of time (6 weeks), we had no idea where to start.  I got online and  found the 3 bedroom "Point Lot" house in Fort Lauderdale that would be near the baseball stadium and also  would be large enough for my family.  I had no idea what I would find when I got there, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. 

The house was beautiful and it had great views and  is convenient to everything.  It was beautifully furnished and hassle free for us.  We enjoyed our time there so much that we  stayed in the 4 bedroom "Virginian" home that had just been remodeled the following year  for Spring Training 2000, it was fabulous.  All the comforts of home without all the hassle .  We loved everything in the area and found it close to restaurants and the mall. The owner was very helpful with anything we needed  and now we are friends!  I highly recommend these homes.

"Hillsboro Shores Beach House 3BR/3 BA"

Our family was very happy with the house. In fact, we all fell in love with it. We all want to come back again.  The location is everything.  Being in a quiet community made all the difference; taking a walk in the morning- and having everyone you pass say “hello” is a great way to start the day. The beach is beautiful—welt maintained and, as you had described it, practically deserted most of the time. The house itself is a dream, wonderfully landscaped with a private-feeling. I can not give enough praise to the cleanliness and comfort of this residence. All the features {bbq, pool, etc) were perfect.  Everything we could possibly need was provided, plenty of towels, etc.

Karen , you were absolutely terrific to deal with. You are efficient and personable and I appreciate your high standards (revealed to me upon our arrival when you immediately went into each bathroom to check that all was in order and discovered that we were missing soap!)  It is obvious that you take care of these properties as if they were your own, and I would not want to deal with anyone else in the future, be it another rental or be it a purchase of property in the area.

I feel fortunate that I stumbled across your website and found this property to rent. My family and I agree that it’s the only place we would want to come back to--hopefully for many years to come.  Again, you were terrific to deal with and we loved everything about the house. Kudos to the owners for knowing how to appoint their beautiful home so that guests feel as if they too, are truly “at home.

Pompano Yacht Club - 2nd Floor"

"Your condo really made our vacation unique.  It's the first time we have traveled that we didn't either stay in a motel, hotel or a relative's guest room!!!  We felt so at home, unlike any place we have stayed before.  You have certainly equipped the condo with all the comforts of  HOME. I must tell you that when we first started searching we were skeptical about staying in someone else's place, picking a place from the internet, and not going with a big name hotel with a reputation. 

We have always found hotels with suites and kitchenettes to be dubious, as sooooo many have used the linens, beds, dishes, etc.  In your condo, we felt, as you do, that only special people have stayed there and they have enjoyed and treated your property with respect and care. From the moment we arrived and met you and toured your condo, we lost all of our skepticism and felt at home.  One of our guests on Sunday wanted to know how long we had been living there!, that's how comfortable we were, they felt that it's charm reflected our style and therefore must be our own condo! We posted our review to the site tonight, I could go on and on and on, and I  want you to know that we'd be happy to be used as a reference for anyone interested in staying in your condo.

"This was the first vacation we decided to rent a home rather than stay in a hotel and this Fort Lauderdale luxury home was our choice. Well, it set the standard for all of our future vacations! We will never stay at a hotel again, not when there is so much convenience and relaxation associated with a home, especially this one! 

Karen takes immaculate care of this house and there is absolutely nothing that is missing. From the coffee grinder down to the plush bathrobes, it's in there!  We really appreciated the open architecture of the house; 3 sliding glass doors from different rooms in the house that allowed easy access to the patio and pool. The neighborhood was quiet yet conveniently located for shopping and frequent trips to the beach. Our experience was wonderful in this house and I would not hesitate to recommend it to you."

Congratulations on creating a wonderful little resort in the heart of Delray Beach. Flying cross-country from San Francisco with my wife, our twin daughters, and our au pair was well worth the effort. It was difficult to choose between staying here by the pool or going across the street to the ocean beach. We did a little of both. The rooms are quite beautiful with plenty of room for all. With God willing we will be back next year.
